Invitation To Submit An Expression Of Interest (eoi) As To The Availability Of Space For Lease In The Halifax Regional Municipality, Nova Scotia File Number 81002954 Public Services And Procurement Canada (pspc) Is Asking Interested Parties To Provide Information For A Potential Lease Of Space That Meets The Following Criteria: Section A: Lease Components • A Lease Term Of Approximately 10 Years, Commencing On Or About December 1, 2025, Plus Options To Extend The Lease For Two (2) Additional Periods Of Five (5) Years Each; • Approximately 503.4 Usable Square Meters (um2) Of Contiguous Office Space And 12 Parking Spaces; • The Proposed Space Must Be Available Approximately 20 Weeks Prior To The Above-noted Lease Commencement Date So All Space May Be Prepared For Occupancy; • The Proposed Space Should Satisfy Or Be Capable Of Satisfying The Following Criteria: 1. The Proposed Space Should Be Within An Office Or Commercial Building; Industrial Type Buildings And Those With Industrial Space Will Not Be Considered; 2. The Building Containing The Proposed Space Must Have Commercial Or Municipal Parking Located Within 500 Metres Walking Distance From The Nearest Entrance To The Building, Measured By Sidewalk And Crosswalk Routes; 3. The Physical Characteristics Of The Land And The Building And The Area And Environment Surrounding It, Including Neighboring Land Uses, Should Be Compatible With Pspc’s And/or The Intended User’s Intended Use Of The Accommodation; 4. Pspc May Not Consider Spaces Or Buildings That Do Not Provide An Acceptable Configuration, Are Located In Proximity To Sites With Incompatible Usages, Do Not Meet Pspc’s And/or The Intended User’s Safety Or Security Requirements, Or Are Not Currently Properly Zoned. • The Proposed Space Must Be Located In The Halifax Regional Municipality, Nova Scotia And Within The Following Boundaries (the Geographical Boundaries Include Sites On Either Side Of The Roads): Starting At The Intersection Of Barrington Street And Cogswell Street Going In A Westerly Direction Along Cogswell Street To The Intersection Of Cogswell Street And Brunswick Street. Left On Brunswick Street To The Intersection Of Brunswick Street And Spring Garden Road. Left On Spring Garden Road To The Intersection Of Spring Garden Road And Barrington Street. Right On Barrington Street To The Intersection Of Barrington Street And South Street. Left On South Street To The Intersection Of South Street And Hollis Street. Left On Hollis Street To The Intersection Of Hollis Street And Terminal Road. Right On Terminal Road To The Intersection Of Terminal Road And Lower Water Street. Left On Lower Water Street Until It Turns Into Upper Water Street; To The Intersection Of Upper Water Street And Barrington Street.
