The required prior work experience for the bidder involves providing details of their work experience in the last 5 years, including the name of the work, location, agreement number, contract price, and total value of work executed. The bidder should also provide information on the approximate value of existing commitments and ongoing works, including the description of work, place, name of employer, contract number, contract value, and balance value of work to be executed. For similar works completed, the bidder needs to provide a list of similar works executed during the last 5 years, including the name of the work, location, agreement number, contract price, and total value of work executed. The total value of similar works completed should be provided, along with the financial year-wise computed amount, including GST. The bidder's work experience and similar works completed will be verified through certification from the employer, not below the rank of Executive/Superintending Engineer/equivalent. A self-declaration in the form of an affidavit should also be furnished to support the claim of existing commitments and ongoing works. The weightage for experience is 10% per year, given on the value of the completed work in the preceding years. The bidder should have an annual financial turnover of not less than Rs. 270.97 Lakh (40% of the estimated cost including GST) in any one year in Civil Construction Works during the last 5 years. Specific percentages and amounts related to the experience and completion of similar works include: - If the rate quoted by the bidder is less than 15% of the amount put to tender, the bid shall be rejected. - For the additional performance security to be deposited by the successful bidder, the following ranges are considered: - Below 5%, no additional performance security. - From 5% and above but below 10%, 50% of the difference between the estimated cost put to tender and the bid amount. - From 10% and above, 150% of the difference between the estimated cost put to tender and the bid amount. - Compensation for delay is computed at 1.5% per month on a per-day basis, with the total amount not exceeding 10% of the Tendered Value of work. - For early completion, incentives range from 1% to 5% of the Contract Value, based on the scale of completion before a certain percentage of the contract period. The available bid capacity is calculated using the formula: Assessed Available Bid Capacity = (A*N*2-B), where A = Maximum value of works executed in any one year during the last five years (updated to the current price level, considering a 10 percent per year inflation rate). B = Value of current price level of existing commitments and ongoing works to be completed during the next year (period of completion of works for which bids are invited). N = Number of years prescribed for completion of the works for which the bids are invited (minimum value of N = 1).
