The bidder is required to have prior work experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of similar nature of building works of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. The works may have been executed by the applicant as prime contractor or as a member of a joint venture or as a nominated sub-contractor. As a subcontractor, they should have acquired the experience of execution of all major items of works under the proposed contract. The bidder must have successful experience as follows: I. At least One similar work having updated completion cost not less than 40% of the Amount put to tender of the proposed work. II. Such Work must have been completed/substantially completed (i.e. gross value of work done up to the last date of submission is 90 % or more of the original contract price) within last 5 financial years. For Joint Venture, the qualifying threshold amount of updated completion cost would be as per given GR No. with lead member having 75% of the amount (i.e., 30% of the amount put to tender) and other member having 51% of the amount (i.e., 20.4% of the amount put to tender). The substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90 % completed as on the date of submission. The bidder should have completed similar work with a value of 90% or more of the original contract price within the last 5 financial years. The bidder should have access to liquid assets of up to 25 percent of the value of the contract. Specifically, the required prior work experience for key personnel is as follows: - Project Manager: BE (Civil) + 15 Years’ Experience into Construction Work or M.E. + 10 Years Experience - Project Engineer: BE (Civil) + 10 years - Sr. Civil Engineer: BE (Civil) + 7 Year of Experience into Construction Works or M.E. + 5 Years Min - Jr. Civil Engineer: BE (Civil) + 3 Years of Experience into Construction Works - Sr. MEPF Engineer: BE (Electrical/Mechanical) + 7 Years of Experience into Construction Works - Sr. Electrical Engineer: BE (Electrical) + 7 Years of Experience into Construction Works - Jr. Electrical Engineer: BE (Electrical) + 3 Years of Experience into Construction Works - Sr. Mechanical Engineer: BE (Mechanical) + 5 Years of Experience into Construction Works - Structural Design Expert: ME (Structure) + 5 Years of Experience - BioMedical Specialist: Shall have experience of Min 5 Years - Surveyor: Diploma (Civil) or ITI (Survey) with at least 5-year experience - Safety Engineer: Graduate (Civil Engineer) - Lab Technician: BE (Civil) + 3 Years Experience / Diploma (Civil) + 5 Years Experience - Store Keeper and Administrative Team: Sufficient manpower to be deployed to make sure all requirements of resources are available at all times. The bidder's annual turnover should be more than a specified amount in any one year, over the last five years of the annual value of contract/contracts applied for. For joint ventures, the lead partner must have an updated annual turnover of not less than 51% of the specified amount, and the other partner must have an updated annual turnover of not less than 30% of the specified amount. The joint venture must collectively have an updated annual turnover of not less than the specified amount. The bidder should propose the structure and composition of the team dedicated to carrying out the assignment, including main disciplines, key personnel, and proposed technical and support staff. In case a project has been executed by a joint venture, weight towards experience of the project would be given to each joint venture in proportion to their financial participation in the joint venture. The bidder should provide information on the total value of civil engineering constructions work performed in the last five/seven years, with the value updated to the current price level. The bidder should have a sound financial position, with audited balance sheets for the last five years demonstrating long-term profitability. Value and percentage of similar works completed: - At least 40% of the value of the proposed contract - At least 90% of the original contract price within the last 5 financial years - For Joint Venture: - Lead member: 75% of the amount (i.e., 30% of the amount put to tender) - Other member: 51% of the amount (i.e., 20.4% of the amount put to tender) - Access to liquid assets: up to 25 percent of the value of the contract.
