The required prior work experience for the bidder is experience in construction works of a similar nature and volume over the last five years. The bidder must have satisfactorily completed, as prime Contractor or sub-contractor, at least one similar work equal in value to one-third of the estimated cost of work (excluding maintenance cost for five years) for which the bid is invited, or one-fourth of the estimated cost in Naxal/Left Wing Extremist Affected Districts. The value of road work completed by the bidder under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana in originally stipulated period of completion shall be counted as 120% for the purpose of this requirement. The estimated cost of works is Rs 184.60 lacs. The bidder's average annual turnover in the last five years should be at least 60% of the estimated cost of the work. The bidder should have a minimum turnover of 75% of the amount put to bid if it is more than Rs. 200 lakhs. The bidder should provide information on work performed as prime Contractor or Sub-Contractor on construction works of a similar nature and volume over the last five years, with certificates from the Engineer-in-charge. The bidder should also provide details of works in progress or contractually committed, with certificates from the concerned officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer or equivalent. The bidder should provide evidence of experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last five years, and the total monetary value of civil construction works performed for each of the last five years. The bid security amount is 2 percent of the estimated value of the works, which is Rs 11.08 lacs. The available bid capacity for construction work should be equal to or more than the total bid value excluding maintenance. For subcontracting, the bidder should provide proposals for subcontracting the components of the Works for construction/up-gradation, aggregating to not more than 25 percent of the Contract Price.
