The bidder is required to have prior work experience, specifically as a prime contractor, manufacturer, or reputed firm in the construction of works of a similar nature and complexity. For a Joint Venture (JV), any partner should have at least 3 years of experience. Both partners together should have an average annual turnover during the last three financial years, which is at least 30% of the estimated cost of the tender quoted for. For General Experience, any of the partners should have successfully executed as a main contractor, manufacturer, or reputed firm, work orders/contracts in any similar sector during the last seven financial years, with a minimum cost of completed works as follows: - One similar completed work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost. - Two similar completed works, each costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost. - Three similar completed works, each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost. For Specific Experience, either of the partners in a JV should have successfully executed/completed similar nature of work during the last 7 years up to the last month of submission of the bid. The similar work experience can be demonstrated by one of the following: - One similar completed work costing not less than the amount equal to 80% of the estimated cost. - Two similar completed works each costing not less than the amount equal to 50% of the estimated cost. - Three similar completed works each costing not less than the amount equal to 40% of the estimated cost. The similar sector is defined as SITC work completed in the Transmission Sector in Transmission Lines, i.e., 132KV or above. Both partners in a JV can meet the General Experience criteria jointly.
