Ontario Health Is Seeking Expressions Of Interest From Geneticists For The Position Of Clinical Lead, Genetics Testing Program (plmp), & Genetics/genomics Expert Panel Ontario Laboratory Medicine Program For The Pathology And Laboratory Medicine Program (plmp) And The Ontario Laboratory Medicine Program (olmp). The Genetic Testing Program Incorporates Clinical, Quality And Performance Criteria, And Engages Clinical And Laboratory Stakeholders In Communities Of Practice To Ensure Laboratory Practice Supports Clinical Practice, New Evidence Is Incorporated Into Practice And That Testing Is Provided In A Consistent Manner Throughout The Province. The Olmp’s Scope Of Work Includes Monitoring Specimen Collection And Equitable Testing Access, Leveraging Expert Advice For Appropriate And Coordinated Laboratory Tests, Fostering Innovation And System Responsiveness, Enabling Digital Integration Across The Testing Continuum, And Working Strategically With Health System Partners To Support Genetics/genomics. The Clinical Lead Will Be Responsible For Providing Strategic Leadership To The Genetics/genomics Expert Panel. This Includes Engaging The Expert Panel And The Olmp Advisory Committee To Support The Development, Implementation, And Evaluation Of Strategic And Operational Priorities, Together As Part Of The Oh Olmp Team, Required For Integration And Transformation Of Health Care Services For Improved Clinical Care.
