Contract notice – general guideline, special regulation open procedure (services) Accommodation for refugees and homeless people – Pfnorstrasse 1 The “Accommodation Management and Social Assistance for Refugees and Homeless People” department of the Office for Social Affairs and Prevention I ... Additional accommodation for refugees and homeless people – Pfnorstrasse 1 The “Accommodation Management and Social Assistance for Refugees and Homeless People” department of the Office for Social Affairs and Prevention is the first point of contact for the granting of benefits for people who have been assigned to the Science City of Darmstadt by the State of Hesse and who have a “residence permit” or “suspension of deportation” (so-called “toleration”) in terms of residence law. In addition, the department offers accommodation for homeless people. The primary goal of accommodating homeless people is to end the homelessness of those seeking help and to escape the negative spiral associated with it. The aim is to enable people to become independent as far as possible. This means that in parallel to the advisory support to overcome homelessness, there should be advisory support for people that focuses on social and societal integration. It is a central concern of the Science City of Darmstadt that both asylum seekers and homeless people are accompanied by social-educational advisory support and positive support. For this purpose, the Science City is looking for a social service that will pursue a social space-oriented approach in the course of its advisory services in the "pfnorstr. 1" accommodation. For people with a residence permit or tolerated status and for people who are housed due to homelessness, all of the city's standard services are generally open. Accommodation for refugees and homeless people - Pfnorstrasse 1 The care ratio for the social service in the Science City of Darmstadt's accommodation for refugees and recognized people is 1:100. This results in a staff deployment of 1 full-time equivalent (ftw) per 100 residents. 1 full-time equivalent (ft) includes a weekly working time of 39 hours. In view of the occupancy limit, a maximum of 4 full-time equivalents (ft) of specialists to be employed by the social services are required for the accommodation "pfnorstr. 1".
