Description Invitation To Bid For Public Bidding Of One (1) Year Janitorial, Maintenance And Other Services Including Supplies And Materials For The Office Of The Ombudsman 1. The Office Of The Ombudsman, Through The General Appropriations Act For Cy 2024 Intends To Apply The Sum Of Forty-five Million Two Hundred Sixty-five Thousand Seven Hundred Thirty-three Pesos And Thirty-one Centavos (₱45,265,733.31) Being The Approved Budget For The Contract (abc) To Payments Under The Contract For Public Bidding Of One (1) Year Janitorial, Maintenance And Other Services Including Supplies And Materials For The Office Of The Ombudsman (pb 2024-04-gao). Bids Received In Excess Of The Abc Shall Be Automatically Rejected At Bid Opening. 2. The Office Of The Ombudsman Now Invites Bids For The Above Procurement Project. Delivery Of The Services Is Required For A Period Of One (1) Year And Shall Commence Within Thirty (30) Days Upon Receipt Of The Notice To Proceed. Also, Delivery Of Services Shall Be Made In Accordance With The Terms Specified In The Schedule Of Requirements And Special Conditions Of Contracts. 3. Bidders Should Have Completed, Within Five (5) Years From The Date Of Submission And Receipt Of Bids, A Single Contract That Is Similar To This Project, With An Amount Of At Least Fifty Percent (50%) Of The Proposed Project For Bidding. The Description Of An Eligible Bidder Is Contained In The Bidding Documents, Particularly, In Section Ii (instructions To Bidders). 4. Bidding Will Be Conducted Through Open Competitive Bidding Procedures Using A Non-discretionary “pass/fail” Criterion As Specified In The Updated 2016 Revised Implementing Rules And Regulations (irr) Of Republic Act (ra) No. 9184. 5. Bidding Is Restricted To Filipino Citizen/sole Proprietorships, Partnerships, Or Organizations With At Least Sixty Percent (60%) Interest Or Outstanding Capital Stock Belonging To Citizens Of The Philippines, And To Citizens Or Organizations Of A Country The Laws Or Regulations Of Which Grant Similar Rights Or Privileges To Filipino Citizens, Pursuant To Ra No. 5183.
