The bid capacity required in the given tender to bid can be calculated using the formula: Bid Capacity : ‘C’ = A x N x 2 – B, Where, A = Maximum value of Civil Engg. Works executed in any year in preceding 5 yrs. N = No. of year prescribed for completion of works for which bids are invited. B = Value of works in hand at present price level. Alternatively, it can also be calculated as: Assessed Available Bid Capacity = (A*N*2 - B) Where: A = Maximum value of works executed in any one year during the last five years (updated to the current price level) B = Value at current price level of the existing commitments and ongoing works to be completed during the succeeding period N = Number of years prescribed for completion of the works for which the bids are invited. The bidder should have satisfactorily executed three similar nature of works in Govt./ PSUs/ Public Limited Companies/ Private Limited Companies each costing Rs. 1,31,23,720.00 (40% of bid value) or more OR two similar nature of works each costing Rs. 1,64,04,650.00 (50% of bid value) or more OR one similar nature of work costing Rs. 2,62,47,440.00 (80% of bid value) or more in Current / last five years. The information on Bid Capacity as on the date of this bid is to be furnished as per the format in Schedule – G, including the total value of Civil Engineering construction work performed in the last five years, certified by a Chartered Accountant.
