The bid capacity required in the given tender to bid having value and formulas is as follows: - Minimum Transport Vehicles Required: Each tenderer should have dedicated 02 (two) separate transport vehicles registered in his/her name/in the family members of 10 / 17 mts or above capacity for each unit. - Financial Capabilities of the Tenderer: The tenderer should have financial resources for working capital requirements to fund assured supply of POL, Lubricants, etc. for maintenance of vehicles and other recurring expenditures. - Capability to engage Manpower: The Transport contractor shall engage his representatives in each paddy purchase center from where paddy will be transported to the Custom Millers & in each Mill Points to RRCs. - Experience: Tenderer should have experience of Transportation with Manufacturer / PSU / OSCSC / Govt. Dept. / Public Ltd. Company/Private Limited Company dealing in the field of Food grains, Sugar, Paddy/ Coarse grains or any other non-toxic commodity. - a) 20% of the estimated contract value i.e. Rs 45,93,661/- (Rupees Fourty Five Lakh Ninety Three Thousand Six Hundred Sixty One Only) in one single contract in one financial year. - OR - b) 40% of the estimated contract value i.e. Rs. 91,87,321/- (Rupees Ninety One Lakh Eighty Seven Thousand Three Hundred Twenty One Only) in multiple contracts in one financial year. - Earnest Money Deposit (EMD): 3% of the estimated value of contract. Formulas: - If the rate quoted by a bidder is up to 14.99% less than the estimated cost, it shall be considered in financial bid evaluation. - In case of failure of the tenderer to deposit the Bank Guarantee as stipulated, further extension of 7 working days can be given subject to levy of penalty @1% of the whole amount of the security Deposit. Additionally, the bid capacity can be calculated using the following formulas: 1. EMD = 3% of the estimated contract value. 2. Security Deposit = 10% of the estimated contract value (5% as Demand Draft/Fixed Deposit Receipt + 5% as Bank Guarantee). 3.
