The required prior work experience for the bidder includes completion of similar major items of work, such as drilling of deep bore wells for irrigation/Rural water supply in Government programmes. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed similar work of value not less than 80% of the original contract value in the last five years. In case of a single prime contractor, the bidder should have completed at least one similar work of value not less than Rs. 627.00 Lakhs, which is 40% of the proposed contract value. In case of a joint venture, the bidder or its identified sub-contractor should have completed similar work of value not less than Rs. 251.00 Lakhs, which is 40% of the value mentioned for a single prime contractor, and executed similar electrical works of value not less than Rs. 376.00 Lakhs, which is 60% of the value mentioned for a single prime contractor. The bidder should have executed a minimum quantity of similar major items of work, which is 40% of the estimated annual quantity of execution. The bidder should also have access to credit facilities of not less than 20% of the amount put to tender, with a minimum of Rs. 313.00 Lakhs. A weightage of 10% per year shall be given on the cost of satisfactory completed works of previous years to bring them to the current price level. The bidder must submit proof in support of this, failure to do so will result in non-consideration of the tender. The bidder must demonstrate having experience and resources sufficient to meet the aggregate of the qualifying criteria for the individual packages. The bidder's available bid capacity will be calculated based on the maximum value of work executed in any one financial year during the last five years, updated to the current price level with a 10% per year escalation factor. The bidder should have completed similar works in the last 5 years, with a minimum value that can be calculated based on the estimated quantity of work. The bidder should have sufficient work experience in Bore Well scheme/ machinery and equipment required for execution of the work. The bidder is required to furnish proof of completion of similar works, supported by a certificate from an authority not below the rank of Executive Engineer or any other competent authority. The bidder needs to provide details of completed similar work, along with documents on bid capacity.
