The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 years: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, or (iii) One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. The similar nature of work is defined as "CTR/TRR/TFR/TTR including raising of track, screening, distressing of track, pre & post works for track maintenance machine like tamping machines, ballast screening/ regulating machines & TTR by T-28". Additionally, for subletting of work, the subcontractor shall have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required. The values and percentages mentioned are: - 30% of the advertised value for three similar works - 40% of the advertised value for two similar works - 60% of the advertised value for one similar work - 35% of the value of the work to be subletted for subletting of work - Rs 50 lakh for subletting of work with no previous work experience required. The completion cost of work is considered as the value of completed work, including the PVC amount (if paid). In case the final bill is pending, only the total gross amount already paid, including the PVC amount (if paid), is considered as the completion cost of work. Substantially completed work means an ongoing work in which payment equal to or more than 90% of the present contract value has been made to the contractor.
