The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing specific similar works within the last 07 years. The similar works can be any of the following: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. The definition for similar nature of work includes "Fabrication and erection of side pathway & trolley refuges on existing bridge steel girders or Fabrication/Repair of railway bridge steel girders etc." The required prior work experience is also related to the average annual contractual turnover, which should be a minimum of V/N or 'V' whichever is less; where V=Advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees N=Number of years prescribed for completion of work for which bids have been invited. No specific information on similar works completed, including values like amount and percentage, is mentioned. However, the tenderer is required to submit information as per Annexure-VIIB, along with copies of Audited Balance Sheets duly certified by the Chartered Accountant/Certificate from Chartered Accountant duly supported by Audited Balance Sheet. The average annual contractual turnover shall be calculated as an average of "total contractual payments" in the previous three financial years, as per the audited balance sheet.
