The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed certain similar works within the last 07 years. The required prior work experience includes: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. In case of composite works, the bidder must have completed: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. Additionally, the bidder should submit a list of works of similar nature physically completed. The bidder should also have a minimum average annual contractual turnover, calculated as an average of total contractual payments in the previous three financial years. The bidder is required to submit authenticated certificates along with the tenders from officers of government or semi-government/public sector undertakings under whom the work has been executed. The certificates should indicate the name of the work executed, value of works/payment details, and period during which the work was completed. For subcontractors, they must have completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required.
