The required prior work experience for the bidder includes a work experience certificate from a government organization or a public listed company with an average annual turnover of Rs 500 crore and above in the last 3 financial years. The bidder should have a minimum average annual contractual turnover, which is calculated based on the advertised value of the tender and the number of years prescribed for completion of work. The average annual contractual turnover should be at least V/N or 'V' whichever is less, where V is the advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees and N is the number of years prescribed for completion of work. The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 (seven) years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. For composite works, the tenderer must have completed: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. The bidder should submit details of works completed during the previous seven financial years and the current year, including name of the work, value of the contract, full address of the authority under whom the work has been executed, date of award and original completion period, actual date of commencement and actual date of completion, final value of the contract, and documentary proof of completion of work. No prior work experience of the subcontractor is required for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh. However, for subletting of work costing more than Rs 50 lakh, the subcontractor must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years.
