North Central Railway Tender

The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having successfully completed or substantially completed certain categories of work(s) during the last 07 years. These categories include: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. In case of tenders for composite works, the categories are: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. The work experience certificates should be issued by any Government Organisation or a Public listed company having an average annual turnover of Rs 500 crore and above in the last 3 financial years. For substantially completed work, payment equal to or more than 90% of the present contract value has been made to the contractor. Additionally, for subcontractors, they must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of work to be subletted, in the last 5 years, unless the subletting work costs up to Rs 50 lakh, in which case no previous work experience is required.
