The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having completed work of a minimum value of 20% to 40% of the estimated amount put to tender during 5 years prior to the date of issue of the tender notice, depending on the call of the tender. For the 1st Call, the bidder should have credentials of a similar nature of completed work of the minimum value of 40% of the estimated amount, or alternatively, credentials of 2 similar nature of completed works, each of the minimum value of 30% of the estimated amount. The bidder can also have one single running work of similar nature which has been completed to the extent of 80% or more and value of which is not less than the desired value. For the 2nd Call, the bidder should have credentials of a similar nature of completed work of the minimum value of 30% of the estimated amount, or alternatively, credentials of 2 similar nature of completed works, each of the minimum value of 25% of the estimated amount. The bidder can also have one single running work of similar nature which has been completed to the extent of 75% or more and value of which is not less than the desired value. For the 3rd Call, the bidder should have credentials of similar nature of completed work of the minimum value of 20% of the estimated amount, or alternatively, credentials of one single running work of similar nature which has been completed to the extent of 70% or more and value of which is not less than the desired value. The values and percentages mentioned for similar works completed include 40%, 30%, 25%, and 20% of the estimated amount, and 80%, 75%, and 70% completion for running works. Additionally, the bidder should have a turnover of 100% in a year in the last 3 years in civil work, and the bid capacity should be more than the estimated amount put to tender, with a positive net worth.
