Title: 24/00754 Refrigeration And Freezer Transport For Medicines - Fhi description: The Norwegian Institute Of Public Health Shall Enter Into A Framework Agreement For The Refrigeration And Freezer Transport Of Vaccines, Immunoglobulin And Sera For Large Parts Of The Country. The Aim Of This Procurement Is To Procure One Supplier Of Medicines For The Norwegian Institute Of Public Health ́s Customers. Fhi Has Approx. 4,000 Customers Nationwide Who Order Medicines As Needed. The Medicines Included In This Procurement Are Temperature Sensitive And Shall Mainly Be Distributed At 2-8°c. Some Medicines Require Distribution At A Freezing Temperature (-25 To -15°c) Or An Ultra-freeze Temperature (-90 To -60°c). The Medicines Must Not Be Exposed To Temperatures Outside Of This Requirement. It Is Important That The Quality Of The Medicines Is Maintained In The Entire Value Chain From Production To The Customer. The Manner In Which The Medicine Packages Are Distributed Depends On The Geographical Location In The Country. The Medicines Can Be Distributed For Active Cooling (cooling Box And/or Cooling Vehicle) Or Passive Cooling (refrigeration Packaging Holding 2-8°c, Or Freezer Packaging That Holds -25 To -15°c, Possibly -90 To -60°c). Most Of The Need Is Envisaged Covered Through Active Cooling. Furthermore There Is A Need For A Flexible System That Provides Rational Operation And The Lowest Possible Cost.
