The required prior work experience for the bidder is that they should have satisfactorily completed, in the last seven years, at least one similar work costing not less than the amount equal to 80% of the estimated cost of work or two similar works costing not less than the amount equal to 50% of the estimated cost of work or three similar works not less than the amount equal to 40% of the estimated cost of works. The estimated cost of the work is ₹ 13,42,16,912. To give a clearer picture, the bidder should have completed: - at least one similar work costing not less than 80% of ₹ 13,42,16,912, - or two similar works costing not less than 50% of ₹ 13,42,16,912, - or three similar works not less than 40% of ₹ 13,42,16,912. The value of work executed shall be brought to the current costing level by enhancing the actual value of work at a simple rate of seven percent per annum, calculated from the date of completion to the date of bid opening. Similar works mean 'River Bank Protection works, erosion control measures, River Training works, and any other civil works alone or across the rivers'. The bidder is required to provide details of work experience, supported with scanned copies of documentary evidence, in a duly filled Form-3. The bidder must also provide scanned copies of Annual Construction Turnover, which includes a copy of an affidavit or a certificate from a Chartered Accountant mentioning the financial turnover of the last three years. However, Startups (whether MSEs or otherwise) registered for a similar nature of work are exempted from meeting the qualification criteria in respect of Prior Experience-Prior Turnover, subject to their meeting the quality and technical specification. Experience of bidders as a member of a Consortium/Joint Venture shall be considered as per the distribution of work against the member of the Consortium/Joint Venture, with a minimum 35% participation share if the distribution is not specified.
