The required prior work experience for the bidder includes completion of specific types of projects, such as underground power houses, tunnels, and pressure shafts/surge shafts. For underground power houses, the bidder should have completed an underground/sub-surface/surface power house in hydroelectric projects, with at least one cavern of minimum 10 m width and minimum 26 m height. For tunnels, the bidder should have completed excavation of at least one tunnel of minimum 4.5 m excavated diameter with minimum length of one km, and completion of concrete lined tunnel of minimum 3 km length of minimum 3 m finished diameter. For pressure shafts/surge shafts, the bidder should have completed civil works of at least one underground steel/concrete lined, vertical/inclined shaft with minimum height of 103 m. The bidder should have executed one or more works of similar nature and magnitude, with the value of similar works being: - One similar work costing not less than INR 815 Crore or US$ 94.98 Million - Two similar works each costing not less than INR 510 Crore or US$ 59.44 Million - Three similar works each costing not less than INR 408 Crore or US$ 47.55 Million The bidder's share in the contract value should be mentioned, and for joint ventures, if the bidder's participation/profit sharing percentage is at least 35%, they will be given full credit for the work executed by the JV. If it's less than 35%, no credit will be given. The bidder should have successful experience as a Sole Contractor or Partner of a JV or Sub-contractor approved by the employer for executing Major Civil Works in substantially completed projects during the last 20 years, with substantial completion based on 80% (value-wise) or more works completed under the contract. The bidder should have a minimum average annual turnover of INR 347 Crores or US$ 40.44 Million for the immediately preceding two consecutive financial years. The working capital should be at least 2 times the monthly cash flow requirement, with a minimum working capital of INR 47 Crores or US$ 5.47 Million or equivalent. The bidder should have positive “Net Worth” in at least 02 (Two) financial years out of the last 03 (Three) financial years, with the condition of positive Net Worth in immediately preceding financial year.
