The National Kidney And Transplant Institute (nkti), Through The Corporate Operating Budget (cob) Intends To Apply The Sum Of One Billion Three Hundred Eleven Million Forty-three Thousand Two Hundred Ninety-three Pesos And 36/100 Centavos (php 1,311,043,293.36) Being The Approved Budget For The Contract (abc) To Payments Under The Contract For The Re-bidding For One (1) Lot Supply And Delivery Of Labor, Tools, Materials, Consumables, Equipment, Supervision And Technical Expertise For The Construction Of Out-patient Services (ops) Building. Bids Received In Excess Of The Abc Shall Be Automatically Rejected At Bid Opening. 2. Nkti Now Invites Bids For The Above Procurement Project. Completion Of The Works Is Seven Hundred Thirty Calendar (730) Days Or Twenty-four Months. Bidders Should Have Completed A Contract Similar To The Project. The Description Of An Eligible Bidder Is Contained In The Bidding Documents, Particularly, In Section Ii (instructions To Bidders). 2.1 The Project Is More Particularly Described As Follows: Project Information: Nkti Needs To Prepare And Align Its Programs, Activities, And Plans Towards The Full Implementation Of Ra 11223, The Universal Health Care Act. The Opd Building Project Is A Significant Step Towards Achieving The Uhc Act As It Shall Allow Expansion Of Specialty Health Care Services Being A Designated National Apex Hospital On Renal Diseases And Transplantation. Concepts And Systems. Site And Space Planning Were Governed By The Standards, Rules, And Regulations On The Design Of Level Iii Hospitals As Prescribed By The Department Of Health And Other Concerned Agencies. Building Design Shall Conform To The Provisions Of The National Building Code Of The Philippines (pd 1096), Accessibility Law (bp 344), National Structural Code Of The Philippines, Electrical Engineering Law (ra 7920), Mechanical Engineering Law (ra 5336), Plumbing Code (ra 1378, 1993-1994 Revisions), Fire Code (ra 9514) And Other Laws And Regulations Covering Environmental Concerns And Local Ordinances And Regulations. 2.2 To Be Eligible To Bid For This Contract, A Contractor Must Meet The Following Major Requirements: (a) Filipino Citizen Or 75% Filipino-owned Partnership/corporation With Pcab License For Size Range As Large “b” For Buildings, License Category “aaaa” For General Engineering.
