Parallel Imaging Will Increase The Speed Of Data Acquisition, Which Will In Turn Result In The Collection Of A Larger Amount Of Data Per Experiment, Again Enhancing Signal-to-noise Ratio (snr). purpose And Objectives: The “neurocam 7t Standard” Head Coil Is Required By Users Of The Siemens Terra 7t Mri Scanner At The Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging Facility (fmrif) At The Bethesda Campus Of The Nih, In Order To Maximize The Signal-to-noise Ratio (snr) Of Mri Images. Scanning Methods Are Being Developed At The Fmrif To Increase The Resolution Of Fmri Data Acquisition. This Increased Resolution Is Typically Associated With A Significant Decrease In Snr, Creating A Major Obstacle To Conducting Fmri Experiments.
