The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience in respect of Eligible Projects, with specific categories and thresholds. The bidder should have experience in construction works, excluding supply of goods or equipment, except when such goods or equipment form part of a turn-key construction contract/EPC contract for the project. The bidder should furnish details of Eligible Experience for the last 5 financial years immediately preceding the Bid Due Date. The experience should be in respect of projects with an estimated capital cost exceeding Rs. 16.94 crore, or payments received exceeding 5% of the Estimated Project Cost. The value of similar works completed should exceed Rs. 16.94 crore, and the percentage of similar works completed should be at least 5% of the Estimated Project Cost. For specialized projects, the bidder shall have completed at least one similar Major Bridge/ ROB/ Flyover project with a span equal to or greater than 50% of the longest span of the structure proposed in this project or 100m, whichever is less. The cost of such similar project shall be at least 20% of the Estimated Project Cost or ₹1000 Cr, whichever is less. For tunnel projects, the bidder shall have completed at least one tunnel project consisting of single or twin tubes with at least 50% of the cross-sectional area of the tunnel to be constructed or cross-sectional area of 2 lane highway tunnel, whichever is less, and 20% length of the tunnel to be constructed in this project or 2 km, whichever is less. The cost of such project shall be at least 20% of the Estimated Project Cost. A project is considered completed if more than 90% of the value of work has been completed and such completed value of work is equal to or more than 20% of the Estimated Project Cost or ₹ 1000 Cr, whichever is less. The bidder should have completed at least one tunnel project in the last 10 financial years, with a cross-sectional area of at least 50% of the tunnel to be constructed, or a cross-sectional area of 2-lane highway tunnel, whichever is less. The length of the tunnel should be at least 20% of the tunnel to be constructed or 2 km, whichever is less. The cost of such a project should be at least 20% of the Estimated Project Cost or Rs. 1000 crore, whichever is less. For normal highway projects, the bidder should have completed at least one similar work of 20% of the Estimated Project Cost, which is Rs. 67.76 crore. The project should be considered completed if more than 90% of the value of work has been completed, and the completed value of work is equal to or more than 20% of the Estimated Project Cost. The bidder should have received payments for construction of eligible projects, with a sum total of more than Rs. 338.80 crore, over the past 5 financial years.
