Description Project Title Construction Of 35-head Dairy Cow Shed With Calf Pen I. Background The Project Is A Dairy Cattle Establishment To Be Implemented In The Municipality Of San Miguel, Province Of Surigao Del Sur, To Promote And Increase The Milk Production And Support Dairy Farming In The Area. The Attached Architectural And Structural Design Shall Serve As The Construction Drawings, And Will Serve As The Contractor’s Reference On The Electrical And Plumbing/sanitary Design. The Plans Shall Consist Of Architectural Design (from The Twg), Structural Design (from The Twg), Electrical Design And Sanitary/plumbing Design. The Shed Shall Be Designed For Different Earthquake Zones, Wind Loads, And Soil-bearing Capacities. This Should Also Be In Accordance With All The Applicable Codes Of The Philippines. Ii. Objective The Objective Of This Project Is To Hire An Engineering And Construction Firm To Construct The Shed In Accordance With The Design And Plans Including The Program Of Works, Detailed Estimates For The Bill Of Quantities, And Other Documents Needed In Construction And Securing Permits, If Applicable. Iii. Scope Of Work 1. Contract Documents 1.1 The Contractor Is Responsible For Producing Comprehensive Construction Drawings And Specifications Based On The Approved Design Documents, Outlining In Detail The Necessary Work For Both The Electrical And Sanitary/plumbing Systems. 1.2 The Contractor Shall Furnish The End-user Complete Sets Of Signed And Sealed Program Of Works, Construction Drawings, Material Specifications, And General Conditions. 1.3 The Contractor Shall Be Responsible For Securing Permits And Other Clearances, If Applicable. Our Quality Management System Is Certified According To Iso 9001 2. Construction Phase 2.1 The Contractor Shall Be Fully Responsible For The Mobilization And Demobilization, Supervision, Labor, Materials, Tools And Equipment Including Utilities Needed To Complete All The Works. These Shall Include The Preparations, Accessories And Consumables Necessary To Complete The Project. The Scope Includes, But Not Limited To, The Following: I. Civil Works • Site Preparation; Clearing And Grubbing Of The Area • Site Excavation And Backfilling To Attain Proposed Elevation. Proper Compaction Of The Area Shall Be Observed. • Structural Excavation And Backfilling Ii. Structural Works • Supply, Delivery, Fabrication And Installation Of Formworks Including Accessories • Supply, Delivery, Fabrication And Installation Of Reinforcing Steel Bars • Supply, Delivery And Pouring Of All Concrete Works Including Clearing And Disposal Of Waste Concrete Mix • Supply, Delivery, Fabrication And Installation Of Structural Steel. Full Welding Shall Be Observed For All The Welded Connections. • Supply, Delivery, Fabrication And Installation Of All Metal Works And Railings. Full Welding Shall Be Observed For All The Welded Connections. Iii.roofing Works • Supply, Delivery And Installation Of Roofing Including All The Accessories As Per Required By The Plans. Iv.electrical Works • Supply, Delivery And Installation Including Commissioning And Testing V. Plumbing And Sanitary Works • Supply, Delivery And Installation Of Clean Water System, Waste Water System And Drainage System Of The Facility Vi. Miscellaneous Works • Supply, Delivery And Fabrication/installation Of Miscellaneous Items Included In The Drawing And Documents 2.2 The Contractor Shall Ensure The Implementation And Compliance Of All Works Indicated In The Approved Construction Drawings And Documents. All Revisions And Deviations From The Approved Plans, Especially If It Shall Impact The Overall Cost Of The Project, Shall Be Subject To The Approval Of The Technical Working Group (twg) And The End-user. 2.3 The Contractor Shall Provide Necessary Soil Filling, Soil Grading, And Other Soil Preparation And Protection Measures For The Construction. 2.4 Coordinates With The Twg And The End-user Regarding The Scheduling Of Delivery And Installation Of All Materials And Equipment During Construction. 2.5 Rectifies Punch-listing Works To Be Inspected By The Twg Iv. Expected Outputs 1. Design Plans (electrical, Plumbing And Sanitary) 2. Final Design Drawings In A Standard Size Tracing Paper Signed And Sealed By Professionals And Other Qualified Approving Authorities. 3. Provide Five (5) Sets Of Blueprint Signed And Sealed. 4. Cad Files 5. Technical Specifications Signed And Sealed By Design Professionals 6. Design Analysis 7. Program Of Works And Detailed Cost Estimates 8. Construction Schedule, S – Curve And Pert – Cpm Standard Requirements: 1. Technical Outputs And/or Project Documentation Shall Conform To The Standards, Content, And/or Requirements Of The National Building Code, National Structural Code Of The Philippines, Philippine Electrical Code, National Plumbing Code Of The Philippines, Philippines Mechanical Engineering Code And Fire Code Of The Philippines And Other Related Codes Applicable In The Execution Of The Project. 2. Progress Reports Are Reportorial Requirements For Monitoring The Project. 3. The Technical Working Group (twg) Assigned To The Project Shall Issue A Certificate Of Acceptance For The Required Deliverables Per Scope Of Work. V. Project Duration All Works Shall Be Completed Within A Period Of 60 Calendar Days From The Date Of Issuance Of The Notice To Proceed (ntp). Vi. Project Site Municipality Of San Miguel, Surigao Del Sur Vii. Implementing Agency National Dairy Authority – Northern Mindanao Department Viii. Layout Attached Architectural And Structural Plans For Contractor’s Reference For The Electrical And Plumbing/sanitary Design. Note: Any Vague Details To The Architectural Design, Structural Design And Terms Of Reference Shall Be Consulted To The Designer Prior To Construction. Any Errors Identified During Progress Inspection Shall Be Rectified Without Additional Contract Cost.
