The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience in various fields of civil engineering construction, such as heavy earthmoving equipment, quality control in compaction of soils, machanised granular pavement construction, construction of asphaltic overlays, and construction of bridge works. The bidder should have experience in similar nature of work, including the following minimum quantities of works completed in any one year during the last five years: - Earth work: 3429 cum - GSB: 781 cum - WMM / WBM: 1520 cum - BM / DBM: 307 cum - BC/ SDBC/ CGPC / PCSC: 184 cum - CC / VCC / VRCC: 530 cum The bid capacity to execute the work should be greater than Rs. 525.70 Lakhs. The bidder's annual value of construction works undertaken for each of the last five years and projected for the current year should be provided. The bidder should also demonstrate that they have access to or have available liquid assets (working capital, cash in hand) and/or credit facilities of not less than 10% of the contract applied for the construction, which is not less than Rs. 52.57 Lakhs. The bidder's experience in similar nature of work should include a minimum bid capacity of Rs. 525.70 Lakhs, and they should have completed similar works with a value of at least Rs. 210.28 Lakhs in any one year during the last five years. The bidder should have achieved an average annual turnover of at least 40% of the value of the contract applied for, which is Rs. 210.28 Lakhs, over the last five years. The bidder, as a prime contractor, should have successfully completed at least one contract (Highway road and/or Bridge works / Airport contract) with a value of at least 40% of the proposed contract, which is Rs. 210.28 Lakhs, in any one year within the last five years. The bidder should demonstrate access to liquid assets (working capital, cash in hand) and/or credit facilities of at least Rs. 52.57 Lakhs. The bidder should have completed a minimum quantity of works in any one year during the last five years, including the mentioned quantities. The bid capacity to execute the work should be greater than Rs. 525.70 Lakhs. The value of the contract and the percentage of completion are required to be provided for each contract. The bidder should have working capital sufficient to finance one month of the current activity for the work being qualified. The tenderer should demonstrate that they have adequate financial resources (overdraft/credit limit certificate to be obtained from the bank) sufficient to sustain the contract cash flow for one month at the peak construction period. The annual turnover furnished in the balance sheet profit and loss account shall be corrected to the annual turnover furnished in the Income Tax clearance certificate. The contractor should not have had any of his contract terminated partially during the last five years by any agency. The tenderer should demonstrate that they have adequate financial resources sufficient to sustain the contract cash flow for one month at the peak construction period. One month current activity is to be assessed from the details furnished in the schedule of pre-qualification documents. One month current activity means total outstanding value of all projects in progress furnished in the schedule for pre-qualification plus value of this contract divided by the period of contract, i.e., 6 Months. Outstanding value is defined as contract value deducting the value of work completed as certified by the agency/departmental officer concerned with whom the contracts subsist. The bidder should have working capital sufficient to finance one month of the current activity for the work being qualified. Net cash is equal to cash at Bank plus debtors minus creditors. Unutilized Bank Credit confirmed by overdraft limit less overdraft availed as reported in the last accounts. The tenderer should demonstrate that they have adequate financial resources (overdraft/credit limit certificate to be obtained from the bank) sufficient to sustain the contract cash flow for one month at the peak construction period. The tenderer should further demonstrate the availability of sufficient numbers of either own or by procurement essential equipment mentioned for this contract.
