The required prior work experience for the bidder includes work performed as a prime contractor or as a nominated sub-contractor, provided the sub-contract involved execution of all main items of work described in the bid documents. The bidder should have experience in works of a similar nature over the last five years and in the current year before the submission of the bid. The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover in any one year, over the last five years, of the annual value of the contract/applied for. The bidder should also have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of building works, road, or bridge works of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. The value and percentage of similar works completed are mentioned as follows: - 30% for annual financial turnover - 40% for single similar work - Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90 percent completed. The amount for the value of work is mentioned as Rs. (as per NIT), and the value of contract and the value of works remaining to be completed should be mentioned in Rs. Crore.
