Description Responsibilities Of The Architect: Preliminary Design The Architect Shall: 1. Investigate, Identify And Document The Needs Of The Lgu For Use In The Design Of The Project; 2. Assist The Lgu In Locating/analyzing The Proposed Project Site, Evaluating Its Adequacy With Regards To Topography, Sub-surface Conditions, Utilities, Development Costs, Climate, Population, Legal Consideration And Other Factors; 3. Recommend If Deemed Necessary, The Services Of Design Engineers For The Inspection And Assessment Of The Site Or Existing Structure; Schematic Design The Architect Shall: 1. Conduct Conference With The Lgu And Visit The Project Site For The Scope Of Architectural Design And Phases Of Work; 2. Conceptualize Design, Preliminary Sketches, Area Computation, Preliminary Perspective Showing The Massing Of The Building, And Probable Project Construction Cost Based On Current Cost Parameters; 3. Provide Design Development Comprising Study Of Plans, Sections, Elevations And Materials For The Floor Plans, Roof Plans, 3d-sections, 3d Elevations, 3d Perspective-vistas And Focuses, Preliminary Materials Specifications, And Statement O Probable Project Construction Cost Derived From Current Cost Parameters And Area Computation From Developed Design Which Shall Be Forwarded O Our Design Engineers (structural, Electrical, Mechanical And Sanitary); Construction Drawings The Architect Shall: 1. Prepare And Provide Construction Drawings And Specifications Based On The Approved And Agreed Developed Design To Include The Following: 1.1- Architectural Plans With Perspective, Specification And Final Cost Estimate; 1.2- Detailed Structural Plans Which Include Foundation Detail, Column And Beams, Schedule Of Steel And Site Reinforcements, Etc. 2. Coordinate With Allied Professional Such As Planners, Landscape Architects, Interior Designers And Design Engineers For The Basic Plans And Details Of The Project.
