The Main Objective Of This Contract Is Design And Construction Of A Wastewater Treatment Plant (wwtp) For Environmentally Sound Treatment And Disposal Of Wastewater Generated Within The Bijelo Polje Municipality. The Scope Of Works Will Include The Design And Construction Of: • The Wwtp (for Phase Ii Capacity Of 30.000 P.e) And Construction Of The Wwtp (for Phase I Capacity Of 20.000 P.e). • Connection To Water Supply System For Approximate Length Of 975m. • Connection To Power Supply System For Approximate Length Of 2000m. The Works Contract Will Be Implemented As Per Fidic Conditions Of Contract For Plant And Design-build (yellow Book), First Edition 1999. The Contractor Will Design And Build The Contracted Project In Complete Manner Which Includes All Parameters Relating To The Required Shape, Type, Quality, Tolerances, Functional Standards, Safety Criteria, And Limits On The Whole-life Cost Of The Permanent Works Upon Completion; The Tests Which Must Be Successfully Passed Both During And After Construction; The Expected And Required Performance Of The Permanent Works Upon Completion; The Design Life And Durability Of The Permanent Works Upon Completion; How The Permanent Works Are Expected To Be Operated And Maintained Upon Completion; The Operational Software And Manuals To Be Supplied; And Details Of The Spare Parts Required To Be Provided And Their Cost. The Contractor's Scope Of Works And Supply Shall Include All Elements And Aspects To Ensure The Proper Implementation Of The Project Which Includes The Design And Build And Commissioning Of A Fully Functional Wwtp. It Also Comprises The Wwtp Testing, A One-year Guarantee Verification Period (gvp), Including Training Of The Employer’s Personnel, All Prior To Issue Of Taking-over Certificate, As Well As 1 Year Of Defects Notification Period (dnp). Total Expected Duration Of The Contract Is 48 Months, I.e. 36 Months’ Will Be Time For Completion (24 Months For Design And Construction Plus 12 Months Gvp), Which Will Be Followed By 12 Months Of Dnp. The Municipality Of Bijelo Polje Intends To Conduct Restricted International Procedure For Selection Of Contractor For Design And Construction Of The Waste Water Treatment Plant.
