The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having experience in works of similar type and magnitude. The bidder should have completed similar works, with specific requirements as follows: - Three similar completed works each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost. - Two similar completed works each costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost. - One similar completed work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost. Additionally, the bidder should have executed at least one similar mechanical and electrical contract with a value of not less than 40% of the cost of the E&M work, and it should be in satisfactory operation for at least one year. The bidder is also required to provide details of the works of similar type and magnitude carried out by them during the last 7 years period. For different positions, the experience requirements are specified: - The Construction Manager should have a total experience of 5 years, with 2 years of experience in similar works and 1 year of experience as a Construction Manager of similar works. - The Project Engineer should have a total experience of 3 years, with 2 years of experience in similar works. - The Supervisor should have a total experience of 5 years, with 2 years of experience in similar works. The bidder's available bid capacity should be greater than the cost put to tender, calculated as (2AN - B), where A is the maximum value of sum of all contracts executed in any one year during the last three years, B is the value of existing commitments and ongoing works, and N is the number of years prescribed for completion of the works. A solvency certificate of an amount up to 20% of the tendered estimated cost is required.
