The bid capacity required to bid can be calculated using the formula: Assessed Available Bid Capacity = (A* N* 2 - B), where A is the maximum value of Civil Engineering works completed in any one year during the last five years, updated to the current price level, and N is the number of years prescribed for completion of the project. However, B is not defined. Additionally, the tender requires the bidder to have certain equipment and machineries, including pumps, submersible pumps, rock breaker, transit mixer, J.C.B., excavator, dumper/trucks, C.C.T.V. camera, and mobile D.G.set. The tender also includes formulas for adjusting the contract price based on variations in the prices of materials and labor, which are: VL = (0.88 R) x 30 x (I – IO) / 100 / IO for labor component, and VM = (0.88 R x 70 - C) x (W – WO) / 100 for material component. The bid capacity required also depends on the class of tendering, with specific financial and organizational requirements outlined for each class, including upper limit of tendering, minimum solvency, total turnover, cost of a single work completed, and number of civil engineers required as employees. Therefore, the bid capacity required to bid includes both a calculated value based on the bidder's past work and a set of specific requirements that vary by class of tendering, along with the possession of certain equipment and machineries, and the ability to adjust to price variations using given formulas.
