The required prior work experience for the bidder includes completing works with a value considered during the last seven financial years and up to the date of submission of the tender. The bidder should have completed at least one contract of similar works in the last seven years. The value of executed works shall be brought to the current costing level by enhancing the actual value of work at a compound rate of 10% per annum. The bidder should have completed similar works with a value of at least 10-20% of the agreement amount. The annual financial turnover achieved by the bidder should be equal to 30% of the estimated cost of work in the last five financial years. The bidder should also have available liquid assets of minimum 15% of the cost of the work tendered for. Technical staff requirements vary depending on the cost and complexity of the work, with specified positions and experience, including: - Project Manager with a degree in the corresponding discipline of Engineering: 10 years - Graduate Engineer: 5 years - Graduate Engineer or Diploma Engineer: 5 years for Graduate and 10 years for Diploma - Road Safety Engineer Graduate Engineer or Diploma Engineer: 5 years for Graduate or 10 years for Diploma The bidder should ensure that the engineering staff is qualified from recognized universities/technical boards. An additional penalty of Rs 25000/- per day will be imposed if enough material, labor, and machinery are not available.
