The bidder should have prior work experience of having successfully completed similar works with specific cost requirements. The required prior work experience includes: a) three similar works, each costing not less than 20% of the probable amount of contract during the last 5 financial years; b) two similar works, each costing not less than 30% of the probable amount of contract during the last 5 financial years; c) one similar work costing not less than 50% of the probable amount of contract during the last 5 financial years. Additionally, the average annual construction turnover on the construction works should not be less than 50% of the probable amount of contract during the last 5 financial years. The bidder should also have executed similar items of work in any one financial year during the last 5 financial years, with a value not less than the minimum physical requirement, if any. The bidder's average annual turnover on the construction of civil engineering works during the preceding 5 financial years should not be less than 50% of the probable amount of the contract. The maximum value of similar works executed in any one year during the last five years is updated to the current price level at a compounded rate of 10% per year.
