The required prior work experience for the bidder includes a list of eligible similar nature of works completed during the last seven years. The bidder must have satisfactorily completed similar works in the last 7 years, with specific requirements as follows: - Three similar completed works each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost, - Two similar completed works each costing not less than 60% of the estimated cost, - One similar completed work each costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost. The cost of work shall mean the gross value of the completed work, including the cost of material supplied by the Government/client, but excluding those supplied free of cost. The bidder should provide certified copies of tax deducted at source certificates (TDS) along with experience certificates, and the TDS amount must tally with the actual amount of work done. The bidder should also provide information on the value of contracts completed, which can be used to assess their experience and capability. Additionally, the bidder should have a team with necessary qualifications and experience. The bidder should have average annual turnover worth minimum 40% of the estimated cost during the last five consecutive years. The bidder should demonstrate that they have access to, or have available, liquid assets and/or credit facilities of not less than 10% of the value of the contract/contracts applied for. The contractor shall submit an undertaking that the bidder will be able to invest a minimum cash up to 25% of contract value of work, during implementation of work. The bidding capacity of the contractor should be equal to or more than the estimated cost of the work put to tender. The value of existing commitments and on-going works to be completed during the next 1.5 years should be calculated and provided in the qualification information section. The bid capacity should be calculated as per the given formula. The bidder is required to have prior work experience in Civil Engineering construction, with details of total value of Civil Engineering construction work performed in the last five years, and work performed as a prime contractor or as a nominated sub-contract. The bidder should provide information on their existing commitments and ongoing works, including the value of contracts, stipulated period of completion, and value of works remaining to be completed.
