The bidder is required to have prior work experience in similar nature of works completed during the last seven years. The experience certificate should be submitted along with the bid document. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed similar works in the last 7 years. The requirements are as follows: - Three similar completed works, each costing not less than Rs……… Crores (40% of estimated cost) - Two similar completed works, each costing not less than Rs……… Crores (60% of estimated cost) - One similar completed work, each costing not less than Rs……… Crores (80% of estimated cost) The bidder is also required to have prior work experience in Civil Engineering construction, with a total value of work performed in the last five years, with a value of at least Rs. …….. Crore (indexed to the current price level at a 10% increase). Additionally, the bidder should have completed at least 20……… to 20……… worth of work in the last five years. The bidder should have average annual turnover worth minimum 40% of the estimated cost during the last five consecutive years. The bidding capacity of the contractor should be equal to or more than the estimated cost of the work put to tender. The bidder should demonstrate that he has access to, or has available, liquid assets and/or credit facilities of not less than 10% of the value of the contract/contracts applied for. The contractor shall submit an undertaking that the bidder will be able to invest a minimum cash up to 25% of contract value of work, during implementation of work.
