The City of Loviisa is inviting bids for a special inspection and repair design of the Kuningattarenranta Breakwater and Breakwater Bridge in Loviisa, under the terms and conditions set out in this document. The construction of the breakwater has been carried out with solutions that deviate from the plans and as a result, stability and erosion damage have occurred in the structures immediately after completion. The aim of the inspection work is to investigate the problems related to the stability and erosion of the breakwater and breakwater bridge and to obtain sufficient initial information for repair design. The aim of the repair design is to find a cost-effective and economical repair solution and to provide the client with sufficiently detailed and high-quality documents for the implementation of the breakwater and bridge repair. The plans must include cost calculations for repairs, an estimate of repairs in future years and their costs for a period of 10 years. The breakwater has a water management permit. The assignment includes checking the permit conditions included in the water management permit, supplementing the permit conditions or applying for a new water management permit, if the conditions of the existing permit are not met.
