The Refurbishment Works Will Deliver An Improved Library, Archive, Workspace And Hospitality Offering, And Includes But Is Not Limited To, New Insulated Roof, Structural Reinforcements, External Cladding, Windows, Hvac, Lighting, Data, Plumbing, Life Safety Systems, Replacement Lift, Pv Panels, Internal Layout Reconfiguration And Fit-out, Replacement Toilets, New Café And Fixed Bespoke Joinery Including Feature Central Staircase. The Council Intends To Procure A Main Contractor Who Is Able To Evidence Extensive Experience Of Working On High Quality And High Profile Refurbishment Projects On Joint Authority Highways And Within Busy Public Environments. Bidders Must Be Able To Demonstrate A Full Understanding Of The Limitations And Requirements Of Such Buildings When It Comes To Undertaking Planned Refurbishment Works.
