Expressions of interest : Performance Based Contract (PBC) for Non-Revenue Water (NRW) Reduction in Lilongwe City The objective of the LWSP is to increase access to improved water services and safely managed sanitation services in Lilongwe City. One of the key focus areas is Non-Revenue Water (NRW) and in particular a NRW reduction program through a Performance-Based Contract (PBC) with a competent and experienced firm. Under the NRW reduction program, LWB will contract a firm/consultant to develop and implement the NRW Investment Plan addressing commercial and physical losses. The overall objective of the Performance-Based Contract for Non-Revenue Water Reduction in Lilongwe City is to reduce commercial and physical water losses for the LWB without compromising the network efficiency, service standards and commercial management. These interventions are expected to result in lower costs and increased revenues. The consulting services ( the Services ) include (i) Phase I – Preparation of an NRW Investment Program and (2) Phase II - Supervising the implementation of the NRW Investment Program.
