As Part Of Preparing The Evidence Base For The Local Plan Review, The Council Seeks To Commission Consultants To Undertake The Preparation Of Various Evidence-based Studies Which Together Will Provide The Council With A Robust Understanding Of Housing And Employment Requirements For The District. Exploring These Matters Will Consist Of 4 Separate Studies: A: Lancaster District Gypsy & Travelling Showpeople Accommodation Assessment (gtaa) - Which Is The Subject Of This Brief. B: Lancaster District Strategic Housing Market Assessment (shma). C: Establishing The Housing Requirement For Lancaster District. D: Lancaster District Employment Land Review. All Four Studies Are Currently Out For Tender. Consultants Are Invited To Tender For Individual Studies Or A Combination Of Studies Where Expertise And Capacity Allow. Each Study Will However Be Procured Separately And Assessed On Its Own Merit.
