The tender for this agreement covers the treatment and disposal of wood waste that the contracting authority receives at the contracting authority's five (5) recycling sites. The contracting authority's collected wood waste must be treated by the tenderer as a minimum as waste intended for recycling or better in accordance with Section 12 of the Waste Executive Order and the Environmental Protection Act. The contracting authority will transport the fraction to the reception facility specified by the supplier. The contracting authority will deliver the waste via its own container transport. The waste fraction will consist of clean wood, designated as A2 - wood. The volume is purely indicative and is based on historical figures, which is why they cannot be taken as an expression of a guaranteed future turnover. The contracting authority has no control over what is delivered to the recycling sites, which is why the quantities stated will therefore be subject to a certain degree of uncertainty. The total monthly delivery of wood waste from the contracting authority has historically varied over the year and has been between 100 and 450 tons per month. The contracting authority does not sort or clean the collected fraction(s) before they are transferred to the supplier. The supplier must accept that up to 5% missorting may occur per load. Reference is also made to the tender documents' contract annex 1 - service description for a more detailed description of the tendered tasks.
