Tenders are invited for kmccyp-145 - detached play and youth worker offer (dpywo) Following a successful pilot in 2019 of voluntary and community sector (vcs) and local authority co-delivered detached play and youth work (the "services"), kirklees council (the "council") is establishing a network of approved providers (the "partners") who we can call on to work alongside teams delivering play and youth work in detached settings. the council aims to work with partners to engage groups of children and young people in informal settings, including the street, parks, open spaces, industrial estates and housing estates, engaging with those who are not involved with other play and youth work provision. the council intends to establish a dpywo in order to identify and work with approved partners to deliver youth work in detached settings (the "services"). this dpywo will allow applicants to become eligible to provide the services alongside the council. this dpywo is open for requests to participate from 16 june 2020 until the 19 july 2024.We are now re-opening the dpywo to involve more diverse and wide-ranging partners, who are well placed to work with us delivering local provision in communities of kirklees. we are particularly interested to hear from partners who are able to deliver in north kirklees, which is currently under-represented on the dpywo.The round 2 deadline for the receipt of applications is monday 23rd august 2021 at 12:00 gmt and must include all supporting documents as required by the application form. applications for admission onto the dpywo can be submitted electronically via the internet using yortender at any time during the dpywo period.
