The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: - Minimum five years experience in Road Works for a Degree Holder in Civil Engineering. - Minimum three years experience in Road Works for a Diploma Holder in Civil Engineering. - Minimum five years experience in Road Works for a Degree Holder in Civil Engineering for routine maintenance. - Minimum one years experience in Road Works for a Diploma Holder in Civil Engineering for routine maintenance. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed at least one similar work equal in value to one-third (or one-fourth in case of Naxal/LWE affected districts) of the estimated cost of the work, excluding maintenance cost for five years. The value of road work completed by the bidder under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana in originally stipulated period of completion shall be counted as 120% for the purpose of this Sub-Clause. The bidder needs to provide details of the work executed, including the gross amount of the work completed and the tendered amount. The bidder also needs to provide information on existing commitments and on-going construction works, as well as works for which bids have already been submitted, including the value of contract and the value of works remaining to be completed. The percentage of Variation of items of work for which there shall be no increase in rates shall be exceeding 25% over agreed quantity for individual items. The percentage to apply to the value of the work not completed representing the Employer’s additional cost for completing the Works shall be 200% of uncompleted Work. The total annual volume of civil engineering construction work executed and payments received in the last five years preceding the year in which bids are invited is also required. No specific percentage of similar works completed is mentioned, except for the value of road work completed under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, which is counted as 120%.
