The bidder is required to have prior work experience of having successfully completed at least one similar work costing more than 40% of the estimated cost of the work put to tender, for Government or Semi-Government clients during the last 5 years. The similar nature of works should be of the same nature and type as the work tendered. The bidder should submit a Certificate of experience from the Agreement Authority of the completed similar work, containing details such as name of work, agreement number, estimated cost, contract price, date of start and completion, and whether the work was completed satisfactorily. The value of completed works will be considered, with a weightage of 5% per year to bring them to the current price level. The bidder should have completed works of similar nature in the last 5 years, with a value of at least 40% of the estimated cost of the work put to tender. The information on the value and percentage of similar works completed includes: - Contract Price & Date - Percentage of participation of the company in the project

- Percentage of partial completion
- Scheduled date of completion The bidder should provide details on the contract, company, and experience, including all works in progress, and the annual value of construction works undertaken for each of the last five years and work for the current year, with separate values for home and abroad. The bidder should also provide information on the employer, location, type of contract, name of the engineer responsible for supervision, contract price, and date, and whether the contract was satisfactorily completed, including time provision. The bidder should submit copies of experience certificates attested by a Gazetted Officer or notarised to prove the similar work experience. The bidder must demonstrate their capability and adequacy of resources to carry out the contract effectively, and provide details of their experience and past performance of works of similar nature within the past five years, and details of current work in hand and other contractual commitments.
