The bidder must have experience of having successfully completed at least one similar work costing more than 40% of the estimated cost of work put to tender, for Government/Semi Government Clients during the last 5 years. The similar nature of works includes works of any magnitude with a minimum as stated above which is of the same nature and type of the work tendered. To prove the above eligibility, a Certificate of experience from the Agreement Authority of the completed similar work shall be submitted, containing details such as Name of work, Agreement number, Estimated cost, Contract Price, date of start and date of completion, whether the work has been completed satisfactorily. The full value of completed work will be considered whether or not the date of commencement is within the said 5-year period. The bidder should also submit certified audited copies of its balance sheet and profit and loss account to demonstrate its annual financial turnover during the last 5 years. Annual financial turnover and cost of completed works of previous years shall be given a weightage of 5% per year to bring them at the current price level. The value and percentage of similar works completed are as follows: - More than 40% of the estimated cost of work put to tender - Full value of completed work - 5% per year weightage for annual financial turnover and cost of completed works of previous years. The bidder is required to submit information on their experience in works of a similar nature within the past five years, including the annual value of construction works undertaken for each of the last five years. The bidder must also provide details of their current works on hand and other contractual commitments. Specifically, the bidder must provide the following information: - Annual value of construction works undertaken for each of the last five years, with separate details for work done in the home country and abroad. - Net profit before tax for the current period and the last four financial years. - Details of works in hand, including the approximate value of works in hand and the value of anticipated orders for the next financial year. The bidder shall have successfully completed at least one similar work costing more than 40% of the estimated cost of the work during the last five years. A certificate to this effect from the agreement executing authority of the completed similar shall invariably be submitted along with the tender documents. The certificate should contain the details such as name of work, agreement number, estimated cost, Contract Price, date of start and completion as per agreement, completed amount of work etc.
