Rfp-2023-62-consultant- Field Expert For Integrated Bio-behavioural Surveillance (ibbs) Roll Out & The Purpose Of This Request For Proposal (rfp) Is To Enter Into A Contractual Agreement With A Successful Bidder And Select A Suitable Contractor To Provide The Following Support- Services Of A Consultant Is Sought, To Support Roll Out Of Ibbs Among Key Population Groups In Phase I States In 2023-24. The Consultant Will Provide Day To Day Support To Naco’s Surveillance & Epidemiology (s&e) Team And Work Under The Guidance Of Hod Si Naco, Through Npo S&e Naco. The Outcomes Of The Support Will Help In: • Roll Out Of Ibbs In Phase I States In 2023-24. • Provision Of Day-to-day Support To State Teams On Methodology For Ibbs Implementation As Per The National Approved Method And Protocols. • Coordination, Monitoring, And Follow-up With State Teams On Ibbs Activity Implementation With Milestones, And Provision Of Real Time Feedback To Teams On Queries As Needed. • Efficient Field Monitoring, Mentoring And Assistance To State Teams. The Scope Of Work Of The Technical Expert Is As Follows: 1. Support Monitoring Of Ibbs Implementation: Track And Monitor Implementation Of Ibbs In Phase I States Based On The National Workplan With Milestones On Weekly Basis. 2. Mentoring Field Teams At State Level On Ibbs Method As Per National Protocol: Technical Support To Teams On Respondent Driven Sampling / Method For Ibbs. Day To Day Outreach And Follow Up With State Teams. On The Spot Technical Support Provision And Redressal Of Clarifications / Queries Raised By Field Teams. Weekly Progress Reports And Updates To Be Submitted To Naco On The Same. 3. Act As Resource Person For Few Technical Sessions In Workshops Organised By Naco And Regional Institutes To Capacitate Field Team (if Required). 4. Data Management Support: Provide Technical Support To Field Team In Data Management. Review And Provide Feedback On Dataset Developed By Survey Team. 5. Field Visit: Undertake Visits To States (5 To 6 Travels Of 3 To Max. 4 Days Each) During The Contract Period To Provide Support During Implementation Of Ibbs Field Work. 6. Meeting Participation: Attend Key Meetings By Naco, Regional Institutes, Sacs And Other Stakeholders And Present Technical Part Of Survey Process And Survey Progress Whenever Required. Support In Background Preparation For The Meetings As Well Whenever Requested By Naco. 7. Support Naco In Coordination Of Ibbs Roll Out. 8. Any Other Work Assigned By Reporting Officer.
