Call For Proposals-2023-126 & The Purpose Of This Call For Proposals (cfp) Is To Request Proposals From Interested And Suitable Community Led Organizations For Carrying Out Community Led Monitoring In Nine (9) Counties Within Kenya For The Purposes Of Improving Quality And Accessibility Of Hiv And Health Services. The Scope Of Work Under This Grant (for The Awardees) Will Include The Following Among Others: 1. Data Collection, Analysis And Reporting On Best Practices, Challenges And/or Issues Identified At Facilities From Recipients Of Hiv Services Using Standardized Tools. 2. Provide Feedback To Facilities And Concerned Authorities Through The Established Reporting Mechanisms 3. Advocate For Quality And Comprehensive Hiv, Tb, Cervical Cancer And Other Opportunistic Infection Services Through Innovative Community-led Strategies 4. Foster Strong National And Sub-national Level Partnerships To Increase And Accelerate Efforts To Eliminate Hiv-related Stigma And Discrimination. 5. Strengthen Community-led Monitoring Implementation And Consolidate Best Practices And Outcomes To Enhance The Evidence Base For Improving Services. Key Expected Processes And Outputs Include, But Are Not Limited To: • Conduct Ethical Data Collection From Service Recipients, Triangulate Data And Maintain Confidentiality Through Safe And Secure Data Management Systems. • Collecting Key Care And Treatment Information And Feedback From Hiv Service Recipients In A Routine And Systematic Manner, • Share Results (service Quality Dashboard, Other Results) And Feedback With Established Reporting Mechanisms On A Monthly And Quarterly Basis. • Participate In Quarterly Meetings With Clm Technical Committee Stakeholders To Provide An In-depth Discussion Of The Work And Results That Will Ultimately Result In Actions And Recommendations For Program Quality Improvement. • Make Concrete Recommendations Through The Oversight Committee To Government And Stakeholders To Improve Services. • Follow Up On The Implementation Of The Recommendations. • The Grantee Is Required To Make The Community Monitoring Results As Accessible As Possible (while Ensuring Security And Confidentiality) For Use By Relevant Stakeholders. • The Applying Community Led Organization Must Ensure That Monitoring Data Must Reflect "value-added" And Not Duplicate Routine Data Collection Already Available To Partners Through The Standard Reports. "value-added" Monitoring Data Also Includes Qualitative Data- Information Provided By Beneficiaries On Their Experience With The Health Facility, Information On Obstacles And Enablers To Access And Retention In Services, Etc. • The Clm Must Enable Organizations Of People Living With Hiv (plhiv, Wlhiv, Ayp+), Key Populations (msm, Transgender, Pwuid, And Sex Workers) To Lead And Coordinate Data Collection, Finance Management, And Consequently Enhance Their Capacity For Sustainable Advocacy Initiatives. • The Program Seeks To Build Sustainability Of Clm Capacity In Clos For Continuation Of Service At Community Level With Available Community Resources. Focus Populations: People Living With Hiv, Key Populations (msm, Sex Workers, Transgender, Pwuids), Women Living With Hiv Networks, Adolescent And Young People Living With Hiv, Adolescent Girls And Young Women Living With Hiv.
