The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having successfully completed works during the last 5 years. The experience required is as follows: - Three similar completed works costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to tender - Or Two similar completed works costing not less than 60% of the estimated cost put to tender - Or One similar completed work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost put to tender The average annual financial turnover on construction works should be at least 30% of the estimated cost during the immediate last 3 consecutive financial years. For different cost ranges, the required experience varies: - For works costing more than 1000 lac, a Project Manager with 10 years of experience and a Graduate Engineer or Diploma Engineer with 5 years of experience are required. - For works costing between 500 to 1000 lac, a Graduate Engineer or Diploma Engineer with 5 years of experience is required. - For works costing between 200 to 500 lac, a Graduate Engineer or Diploma Engineer with 5 years of experience is required. - For works costing between 50 to 200 lac, a Graduate Engineer with 2 years of experience is required. - For works costing between 10 to 50 lac, a Graduate Engineer or Diploma Engineer with no minimum experience specified is required. The solvency required is 40% of the total estimated cost. The values of similar works completed are: - 40% of the estimated cost (for three similar works) - 60% of the estimated cost (for two similar works) - 80% of the estimated cost (for one similar work)
