The formula involves the following components: - A: Maximum Value of Civil Engineering works executed, updated by giving 8% simple weightage per year to bring them to the Current Financial Year price level. - N: Number of years prescribed for completion of the works, considering a period up to 6 months as half-year and more than 6 months as one year. - B: Value of existing commitments, including agreed works and ongoing works to be completed during the project period. The bid capacity is calculated as 2AN - B, and this value should exceed the Estimated Value of the work for a bidder to be eligible.
