The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having successfully completed similar work during the last 7 years, specifically in the construction of major hydraulic structures. The similar work is defined as construction of head or cross regulator on canal, barrage/weir, pump house, aqueduct, major bridges on highway, and railway bridges. The bidder should have completed works with a value of at least: - 40% of the estimated cost for three similar completed works - 50% of the estimated cost for two similar completed works - 80% of the estimated cost for one similar completed work Additionally, the average annual financial turnover during the last 3 years should be at least 30% of the estimated cost. The bidder should also have experience in mobilizing equipment and personnel for large contracts, deployment of heavy equipment, and use of modern technology in construction of hydraulic structures. The bidder should provide details of experience and past performance in construction of irrigation projects, including clearance of river/canal/drain work in the past five years. The bidder should also give evidence of having experience in construction of civil engineering works, comprising the construction of hydraulic structures on rivers, and should be registered in the UP Irrigation Department.
