The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: - A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience for a Degree holder in Specific Engineering. - A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience for a Diploma holder in Specific Engineering. - A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience for a Side Supervisor. - A minimum of 5 years of experience as a profit-making entity. - Experience of ‘similar construction contracts’ in the role of contractor for at least the last 5 years prior to the bid submission deadline. - The bidder should have satisfactorily completed at least one similar work of at least 80% of the contract value, as a prime contractor or at least two similar works of value not less than 50% of estimated value of contract within the last 60 months from the last date of submission. The value and percentage of similar works completed are mentioned as follows: - The bidder should have executed similar electrical works for a minimum amount of Rs. 1 lakh (usually not less than 50% of the electrical works) in any one of the last 5 financial years in a single job. - The bidder should have completed at least 80% of the peak annual rate of construction. - The bidder should have satisfactorily completed at least one similar work of at least 80% of the contract value. - The bidder should have completed at least two similar works of value not less than 50% of estimated value of contract.
