The bid capacity required can be calculated using the formula: Available bid capacity = A X N X M – B. Where: A is the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last 5 years. N is the number of years prescribed for completion of works, considering periods up to 6 months as half a year and more than 6 months as one year. M is taken as 2. B is the value, at the current price level, of existing commitments and on-going works of the bidder. This calculation should be prepared by a Chartered Accountant and contain a Unique Document Identification Number.

The bidder should have experience of having successfully completed similar works as a contractor. The experience requirements are as follows: - Three similar successfully completed works costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to the tender.
- Two similar successfully completed works costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost put to the tender.
- One similar successfully completed work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost.
The works should be related to Boulder Pitching Work On Dam or Anti-Erosion Work on Any type of Bund by Boulder. The experience certificate must be issued by a competent authority.
